The problem is when to raise the difficulty they just change a couple values to make things more bullshit rather than tailor an actual difficult experience.
Which, y'know, it makes sense to do that because how many people are gonna appreciate the difficult experience, but still.
Better put it on Hard Difficulty b/c I'm so good at video games
*40 hrs later*
Damn this game kinda sucks huh
Why does Bluesky suddenly think I'm into cross stitching?
I've seen like ten embroidery posts back to back.
Yakuza: Come for the yakuza badass, stay for the life lessons
Things I didn't know I needed to see myself on.
I wish someone explained the concept of sinus headaches to me, because my sinuses are awful and I used to panic whenever my teeth started randomly hurting at the same time I got the sniffles.
Anyone good with cars? Something's wrong with mine.
Today is Bowser Jr.'s canonical birthday, according to an instructonial video by Nintendo!
Here's a 'what if' comic I made last year, touching on an alternate interpretation of the origins of Bowser Jr.'s modern mask and paintbrush. He probably made them himself, but I thought the idea was cute!
What're you talking about, BotW came out in 2017, that was only like... 3 years ago.
The moment I looked up and realized that thing suddenly had hands (which it promptly introduced me to) was peak.
When I got Guilty Gear, I picked Bridget because haha fun cute character with a yoyo. My friend who's played far more fighting games spent the next three hours absolutely smoking me with a hospital bed, then wondered why I didn't want to play the game again the next day.
Don't worry, you don't really have to understand them to get far in any of the games. You'll get a grasp on most of it by happenstance as you wander around through the game.
There's nothing I love more than sitting next to the water for two minutes, getting fed up the fish won't bite, and just launching a net at the whole pond.
There's some magic that was lost from no longer needing to bang your head against a wall on a level/boss because you couldn't get an optimal meta strat off the internet in seconds.
I wouldn't go back given the choice, but we definitely lost the mystique.
The lack of customization Sekiro (short of what you unlock post-game) has gotta be one of the worst parts.
Souls games are really about getting good enough that you don't have to care about stats, just what looks the coolest/cutest/hottest/dumbest
I really should go back to the Octopath games one day, some of the best JRPGs out there
It's one of those action RPGs that's about as deep as you yourself make it.
Core gameplay loop is hunt monsters, harvest materials for them.
Whether you use those materials to make gear that performs better or looks better is up to you.
I'm almost tempted to check my VODs to see, but I swear a solid half or more of the 16 hours it took me to leave Low Rank were JUST cutscenes/on-rail segments.
Like, man, I liked the lore questions they were answering in the second half, BUT LET ME PLAY THE DAMN GAME-
Love the gameplay, love the setting they've built, love the lore drops, hate the entire Low Rank experience.
Welcome to the hunter club.
You'll never leave-
It honestly wouldn't be that bad if it wasn't every single quest in Low Rank.
I'm pretty sure I spent more time in cutscenes and on rails than I did ACTUALLY HUNTING MONSTERS.
The hunting's great, of course. But, boy do they really want me to watch an in-flight movie before every story hunt.
Fruit is so stupid. Itβs delicious and turns bright red when itβs ripe. I can see you dumbass
damn they just like me fr
Chuuni gang
We'll circle back to that and touch base for a level-set.
I've been absolutely obsessed with Stomach Book lately.
