Yeah the chainsaw fight was really good. I had one zombie being dragged around on the floor and it was hilarious. I tried to recreate it on a different file and it didn’t happen, some truly emergent physics stuff going on there which was nice to see

I don’t get why it had to be two games in one. The Leon stuff feels like fan servicey bullshit and a downgrade from RE4r. Would much rather play the entire game as Grace with fewer set pieces and a greater emphasis on stealth. Just keep this care center expanding, it’s so good.

Liking RE9 a lot but it predictably dips in quality after the first big puzzlemansion. That’s kind of what all these games do so I can’t be too mad at it.

Many of these dime-a-dozen 9/10s are secretly worse than the rare 7/10 masterpiece. So much of what comprises a Good videogame really just checks certain boxes that reinforce widely accepted design practices. Games that are willing to play outside those bounds can be much more worthwhile.
