Yeah, I think that's consistent with my theory.

I *think* what's happening is that soon as it sends a post to your client, it marks it as 'read', even if you didn't scroll down to it. And every time you refresh the feed, it won't include any 'read' posts. So it basically instantly runs out of unread content for you, so just fills in with shit.
