The final Calvin and Hobbes, which appeared in papers 30 years ago today.
My first edition of The Shining. Or Bart Simpson's Guide to Life.
I've never felt older in my entire life that I feel reading random shippers hate on the Stranger Things finale. I was a god damn mess during it. Season 5 was my least favorite season but that was an all-timer TV final episode.
Christmas Chimes are calling!
Oh yeah. Itβs awesome. I think he filmed that around when this first volume was published. 12 years ago. π« Still waiting on 2 and 3.
It took just under a year on and off but I finally finished the 1600+ page *first* volume of The Beatles biography by Mark Lewisohn. Insane. Highest of recommendations. Itβs 1600 pages and it literally ends right before they record their *debut* album. Really need him to finish this thing.
Cashman & Boone at every end of year press conference when they have to admit they've been lying about injuries for 6 months.
I'm gonna think of that Austin Wells first pitch fly out randomly for the rest of my life the way I occasionally still think about that time Didi missed a 3 run HR off Cole in Game 3 of the 2019 ALCS by about 4 inches. Why? Because what the hell else am I gonna do?
The annual double whammy of the Yankees getting knocked out of the playoffs and the sports world simultaneously rejoicing at their demise as if they are a constant champion needing to be dethroned is probably my least favorite 24 hours on social media.
Canβt believe Aaron Boone gave up 13 runs today smh.
Clayton Kershaw Live premieres on ABC this fall probably.
Adam Richman and I talk about small portions at restaurants.
Mark Leiter Jr giving up 6ER in his last 1.1 innings and then dressing up like the biggest goober in history.
The Yankees announcing Volpe has a torn labrum and is out of the lineup on the night Trump is coming to the game is legitimately hilarious.
Exact same for us. Genuinely do not know where we would be otherwise.

In INDEPENDENCE DAY Russell Casse says heβs been dying for payback after getting abducted by aliens years ago and everyone around him rolls their eyes and acts like heβs insane even though theyβre all there preparing to fight off an alien invasion.
Make it the 8th inning of Game 7 of the 2003 ALCS by science or magic.
I walked past Tom Green & Drew Barrymore in NYC holding hands on the day he hosted SNL in 2000. What a whirlwind.
I'm just curious, how had they become Barstool-lite? What am I missing? They don't promote misogyny or racism from what I can tell. They don't seem to send legit hate or ill-will towards anyone and don't stalk or harass people they don't like. Is it just because they do sports content & have vlogs?
Iβll never really understand the disdain some people have for Jomboy Media. I think theyβre great. Iβve shown videos of theirs to people from ages 7 to 70 & they love them. They seem like good people. Their love for baseball is genuine. No offense but the haters can eat a bug.
