Thank you. After much searching, I found it in my emails. It's here if anyone else finds it useful. I can't remember who to credit - sorry but thank you. It's great.
Please help. I'm sure I've seen a worksheet of A level 'which integration technique should I use questions'? I'm sure I saved it but now I can't find it....
I teach decision and further stats as it plays to my strengths having done MORSE at Warwick. They do so much pure that it is good to have a change. Further stats really does help their regular maths and it has made some students fall in love with stats whereas the regular maths course will never.
Thank you. I will get my exams officer to get the scripts but don't I need the permission of each candidate? I know it won't be many lessons but wanted an idea of the topics to focus on.
I've picked up teaching some year 13s who still need to get a grade 4 at GCSE maths. We want to enter them again in November so does anyone have a sow for resits?
One thing about having a history nut for a husband is we go on holidays that not many people would think to do. We're right at the top of Newfoundland to visit a Viking settlement tomorrow. We still managed to cheer on England on the BBC courtesy of a VPN 🎉🎉🎉
I took the overnight Santa Clause Express from Helsinki to Rovaniemi. Good value and fun for the kids.
I left my previous school when they wanted to pull us out of TPS. The alternative was to contribute an additional 5% of your pay. I went back to state for a pay rise and my pension. They lost 5 out of 8 maths teachers that summer...
I've had one at school. Works in degrees but gives strange answers in radians so only discovered once we started year 2 content.
Yes I will be doing that later.
My email was identical to yours. I've gone back and pointed out that they haven't addressed my concerns.
My exams officer sent in my email yesterday but I'm expecting the same brush off that you have received.
Thank you!
Is anyone else having trouble with ActivLearn?
Fully agree. I love Piece Hall- seen New Order and Idles there. Also love family gig nights. Our last one was Supergrass last month in Manchester 🥰
Yes please 😊
It looks like there is a newer textbook but I always liked this one and you may be able to get it second hand

I won't see the paper until the morning so not much help for you. They really liked the paper and I know there was an integration using a trig substitution question.
I just took a look and was transported back to the Blackburn I knew growing up!
I used to work for British Airways and there was one in Viscount House which was an office building at the end of runway 27L. A lot of the Operational Research folk worked in there and as young grads, many games were played.
Here are my badly written notes for the invigilator and scribe in case it helps. Quite a bit of it is for further maths.
Happy to help if you have more questions.
They should also get 25% extra time as it does take longer. I practised with the student before the exams so they got used to dictating everything. I also produced a document for the invigilators of common phrases and what would be written to help reassure them that there was no cheating going on.
I had a maths and further maths student last year who broke his wrist just before his A levels. If you can find a scribe who has a knowledge of A level maths then that is the best solution. I also found a large whiteboard so he could badly draw things for the scribe to copy.
Long weekend in the Lakes walking with my dogs who pose so well for photos 😍
If you like rotisserie style chicken then this is your place but get there early....

Thank you! I should have tried guessing 😂
I was so tempted to buy this as I love maths and football. Unfortunately there's just too much Man U on it and I really don't like them 😕
