while i'm inclined to turn my fave characters into monsters, i don't think of fanged!cecil as a literal demon - just as a man who actually made a deal with one.

Recently I gifted an art print to my partner. They were shocked to be able to see the brush strokes, which made me realize image compression might be hiding from you all just how much cross hatching it takes to make these paintings.

Cecil is badly wounded and in apparent pain. His chin is tilted upwards and he grimaces, his eyes screwed shut as he pushes a lock of hair behind his shoulder and out of the way of his throat. Both his arm and neck are covered in burn marks, while a large bruise also covers most of the latter. The shape of the bruise suggests he was choked, and the burn marks stem from an enormous hole on the right side of his face. The wound is graphic, still bloody and raw as it exposes Cecil's jaws to the bone, revealing sharp teeth past damaged skin and muscle. His tongue pokes out of the gap between his teeth and his cheekbone, trying to lick at the wound. Donald cants his head to one side, appearing concerned, and attempts to advise him: "S-Sir... you really shouldn't--" 2. Still in pain, his chin and arm now lowered, Cecil yells, "Fuck!" presumably prompted by the sting of his tongue touching the raw flesh on his face. He has turned his head, offering the viewer a clearer view of the wound. Drool strings between the pointed teeth as he shouts, his eyes still screwed shut. Donald now appears uncomfortable and is visibly sweating, finishing his futile warning: "--l... lick it..."
