Spent the morning deciding to go Super Minimalistβ’ on my personal website. As I am prone to egomania, delusions of grandeur and humble bragging, I kept it short and sweet.

The long interview was SO FASCINATING! I get the feeling that he's definitely "one of us"! Representation in wrestling is important π
Thank you SO MUCH for sharing your work! I've always loved miniatures; they are a throwback to my model building days as a child. One of these days I might get back into painting, but until then, I can live vicariously through you! π
I've never heard of or seen that podcast, but now I GOTTA look it up!
I found him via Reddit. He's killing the backstage bits, and one can always use more curses! I've only seen a few matches; there's room for improvement of course. I'm following him on X/FB/Bluesky in the hopes that I can meet him in person. I'd give him some moneyhausen for that!
I'm not seeing anything at that link to sign up for! I have a lot of moneyhausen to give to you! LET ME IN.
I haven't been into wrestling since Dusty Rhodes retired, but I am LOVING ME SOME @danhausen.bsky.social Imagine a wrestler who's part Renfield, part Dracula, part Cesare (Dr. Caligari) and Old Jewish Man with sarcastic asides.
Watch this, and You, too, can love you some Danhausen!
As I get ready to start sending my flash fiction stories out into the wild world of lit magazines, I find myself being drawn to ones that "pay with copies", as it reminds me of The Old Daysβ’ because that's what most did!
Actually getting PAID for it boggles my mind!
(but I will cash that check)
...and Wes Anderson does the stop motion animated movie of the story.
Some episodes for the unfamiliar. An amazing series!

I'm still undecided when it comes to using AI for peripheral needs, but when it comes to my writing, I always depend on my own brain pan to come up with ideas.
To me, the process is 10x more important than the product, or the profitability.

This is SO good to hear!
Well, we know that's the single reason for existence of the many mattress stores in the world!
In our little Kentucky town, the barometer is the sheer number of Dollar Tree and Dollar General Stores that proliferate an area that only has a population of 18k.
Some folks are so destitute that they can't afford Walmart any more and go to these stores.
It ain't good on the horizon.
Gosh, I LOVE me some Charlie Chan!
I'm glad that I grew up watching the reruns on TV before they were deemed problematic.
Same with Fu Manchu and Mister Moto!

No one ever gets the quote though, so I look like Iβm clever and original!
I am not.
The sweeter the apples, the sharper the cheddar, the better I like 'em! Bon appetit!
Quit throwing gang signs!
I love older Star Trek, but it's a mess.
I can only think of two fandoms, off the top of my head, that seem to be nice and wholesome at least 51% of the time, and that's The Lord of the Rings and Dune.
But then again, I haven't dug too deep, especially on Reddit, because, well, Reddit.
A century ago, a socialist magazine published a manifesto calling for workers to pick up the pen, heralding the dawn of Americaβs proletarian literary movement.
Our societyβs need for working-class writers remains as strong as ever.

Bonus points for Snidely Whiplash GIF!
You've got a good eye, my friend! Yes, it is indeed the ATR-2100 USB; quite the workhorse, bought lo these many years ago!
Not sure why it's still there, as I'm not podcasting nor online gaming any more.
Might be time to retire it to the garage :)
I'll be heading north to PulpFest at the end of July for the fourth year running and I HIGHLY recommend you join me!
Small, intimate, focused, fun convention.
Actually it's FOUR conventions for the price of one!

Awww. I love seeing these! I would do them as well, but a) I'm not as photogenic and b) my background would be much less scenic. Have a great day!
It's Friday, and you know they gotta get down on Friday!
Aww! I miss me some Mark Maddox! He was always fine company at Monster Bash!
