Well, we know that's the single reason for existence of the many mattress stores in the world!

In our little Kentucky town, the barometer is the sheer number of Dollar Tree and Dollar General Stores that proliferate an area that only has a population of 18k.
Some folks are so destitute that they can't afford Walmart any more and go to these stores.
It ain't good on the horizon.

I love older Star Trek, but it's a mess.
I can only think of two fandoms, off the top of my head, that seem to be nice and wholesome at least 51% of the time, and that's The Lord of the Rings and Dune.
