It will take years to undo this degree of corruption

I feel like we typically see these sorts of completely outraged opinions from federal judges a couple times a year across the whole country, maybe a little more often in last few years. Now, in cases stemming from Trump's immigration crackdown, judges are ringing the alarm bell several times a week.

I see analyses that are disturbing. Yes, it bothers me that the USS Gerald R. Ford is parked off Israel and Haifa. Hegseth wants an Iranian escalation to trigger full american retaliation with allied participation.

Proving one thing: they fully intended to put some IRGC general in charge, likely one who happily ordered the killing of protesters

Implying another: they accidentally killed a bunch of the high level guys who were on the Mossad payroll.

Neither of these things are implied. Though it does at min imply some attempt to plan for the succession of a diminished but intact regime rather than a shattered one. It is at least suggestive that they anticipated capitulation but are now unsure who would will left to capitulate.
