For those who have forgotten the past 40 years:
Tax cuts for the rich
...don’t trickle down
Boosting military spending
...doesn’t bring peace
Slashing regulations
...doesn’t create jobs
Folks, we’ve seen this all before.

Here are the Patriots' grades and rankings in each category of the latest NFLPA player survey, as reported by @kalynkahler.bsky.social.
The coaches – led by Josh McDaniels and Mike Vrabel – getting good grades, team amenities and travel once again do not.
Overall, the Patriots are ranked 26th.

Obama: "At some point, you age out. You're not connected directly to the immediate struggles that folks are going through. I'm not making a hard and fast rule here, but I think Democrats do well when we have candidates who are plugged into the moment. To the zeitgeist. To the times."

Democracy is when voters choose their leaders. Autocracy is when leaders choose their voters.
Will Campbell apologized Tuesday for not speaking to media after Super Bowl 60, saying he needed time to process the defeat.
"I don’t think one performance defines a season.... I’m 22 years old. I have a lot of room for growth." www.masslive.com/patriots/202...
You can’t expect logic from those types of fans.
I myself was upset in the moment with Campbell. Then found out the severity of the injury he dealt with.
Several vet OL came out and said post game those issues can be fixed. Trust them more me and other irrational fans
Trusting the process
Why does he do that? Maybe it’s because he knows he doesn’t have the inherent advantage of longer arms, but imo he’s not a super athlete to mitigate those mistakes. Could definitely see improvement next year with some more teaching (still think he could be an awesome guard)
I think the Will Campbell arm length discussion is gonna happen a lot, but I only think it’s a smaller part of a bigger issue. He tends to drift and overset as a pass protector, which doesn’t give him a lot of advantages.
The NE offensive game plan was puzzling. 79.1% of snaps in 11 personnel. No game over 70% in regular season. Got dime 53% of the time but still couldn't run.
Zero snaps in empty to try to spread the Seahawks out. Season-low in 21 personnel, 1.5%. One snap in Jumbo.
Just let Seattle play its game.
Now from a Pats fan perspective... what a fun year! Even with the SB loss, that was pretty awesome. Way ahead of schedule. I feel good about this team for years with Drake Maye, even though he'll need to be better against good defenses. I have faith in him and in the young OL getting better.
The Patriots are a very young team, with obvious holes, and they still made it to the Super Bowl. A few pieces and they'll be right back. Woodson was a draft steal, Milton Williams was a home run in free agency, just need to stabilize the OL, build some WR/TE depth, and improve the LB position.
Congratulations to the New England Patriots on bouncing back from some non-competitive seasons to become AFC Champions. It was a fun season. Thanks!
Congratulations to the Seattle Seahawks on winning Super Bowl 60. Very worthy champions. The best team raises the Lombardi Trophy.
I do think the NFL’s decision to have Bad Bunny do the halftime show is another signal that People In The Know understand the woke moment is coming back in a much more ferocious and all encompassing way

Fuck ICE
I have contacted the AP and requested that they please make the full NFL awards voting totals available to @pro-football-reference.com for the purpose of documenting NFL history.
France is about to prosecute them; Europe is about to investigate them; United States says there will be no investigations or prosecutions... Just 'Thinks' On It...! 🙄

The Epstein scandal is taking down Europe’s political class. In the US, they’re getting a pass.
Mamdani: "I speak of Renee Good, whose final words to the man who murdered her were, 'I'm not mad at you.' I speak of Alex Pretti who died as he lived, caring for the stranger. ICE shot him bc he did something they could never fathom ... let us offer a new path: one of defiance through compassion."
Matthew Stafford won MVP by the thinnest of margins:
Matthew Stafford beat Drake Maye by five points (366 to 361) to win the NFL MVP www.masslive.com/patriots/202...
In the closest vote since 2003, Rams QB Matthew Stafford is the MVP over Patriots QB Drake Maye.
Nice recovery with that 2026 HOF class:
•Brees = #2 all-time pass yds
•Fitzgerald = #2 all-time receiving yds
•Vinatieri = #1 all-time scoring leader
•Kuechly = DPOY, 5x All-Pro
•Craig = one-of-a-kind RB
Yes, Belichick should have gotten in. Short of that, this is good recovery.
U.S. District Court Judge Michael Simon: “In a well-functioning constitutional democratic republic, free speech, courageous newsgathering, and nonviolent protest are all permitted, respected, and even celebrated. In an authoritarian regime, that is not the case. Our nation is now at a crossroads."
Congress appropriated $257 million to renovate the Kennedy Center before Trump shut it down. Follow that money and see where it goes.
