There is no greater human truth than “we should have had more A-Team movies.”

This is how I access BlueSky
“But he seemed so nice!”
They knew sales were tanking because they did bring Batman back by the end, but honestly that just sort of made it worse because now Vibe and Steel died on his watch. Jason Todd should have seen it coming.
It basically turned the book into an inferior version of the Teen Titans.
I should have realized then that comics as a whole had moved away from being kid-friendly, but I was only 10 after all.
So then, a couple years later, they decide to reboot the title using the Legends mini-series as the backdrop and unceremoniously murder two of those four new characters.
It was my second major disappointment in comic, the first being the death of Barry Allen in Crisis.
And most of the rest of the team was made up of Steel, Vibe, Gypsy, and Vixen. I had no idea who these characters were. Why was this Justice League when the toys had the actual, known characters?
But, in time, 8-year-old me grew to love the cast. It was monthly mail addressed just to me.
Why get a title with just Superman or Batman when I could get the title that had all the characters from the toy line I was collecting?!
My first issue was #239 and begins with Superman, Wonder Woman and Flash leaving the team leaving behind only Aquaman and Martian Manhunter that I recognized.
In 1984, when the Super Powers action figure line first came out, they came with mini-comics. On the back was an order form to get a subscription to one of maybe four comic titles.
My parents, wanting me to read more, offered to sign me up for one subscription and I chose Justice League of America.
I just watched it Friday and I wholeheartedly agree with everything you wrote. Hugh Jackman was also good, but Hudson and Anderson were the standouts for me.
I’ve had Neil Diamond songs stuck in my head since Friday.
I appreciate that, Rob.
Well, I guess my best suggestion for all real humans and many dogs will be to not listen to this ten year old podcast episode.
Ten years ago, Nerd Lunch recorded this episode. We got two actual lawyers to argue whether or not Zack Snyder should continue making movies. Just a fun concept episode. Although, it was something that just didn’t click with our audience.

That used to be me, but now I’m cynical enough to believe it’s intentional and the store can fuck right off.
I think you’ll like it.
Have you seen Song Sung Blue yet?
Bill Bixby beginning to turn into the Hulk has been labeled as graphic media. Okay.

That sounds awful, but a real possibility. He would introduce a character on the team literally named “Pillow Guy.”
I typed Lobdell but it autocorrected to Lindell and now I feel like the joke that probably wasn’t that funny in the first place is ruined.
I remember in the mid-90s when they brought that character back for his own mini-series. I think the writer/artist team was Scott Lindell and Herb Trimpe.
Cool. Let me know if you are looking for staff writers.
Would it be about the character he didn’t wind up playing in Star Trek IV?
drop a gif you can hear
Easy A is so good. I need to rewatch that.
My review of Song Sung Blue:
You only gave this three stars because you probably don’t understand the life mission of making the world understand there’s more to Neil Diamond than “Sweet Caroline.”
She’s very beautiful. Fuck the haters.
Fuck. You did it. No one can top this answer!
Ashes to Ashes has been completely unavailable until very recently when it popped up on Amazon Prime. It’s been on my list to watch for ages. I’ve almost bought bootlegs of it at least twice at cons.
