I haven’t been posting much this week…it’s been a hectic week, and the garden is beautiful and there’s just been a lot else to do. The time off from posting has also given me an opportunity to look at several ‘in progress works’ that I had set aside to let percolate, so to speak. This one…was difficult for me in that the underpainting was one I got very attached to…it was about portals, specifically the portal of grief…. It was darker and had depth and power and flow, yet it honesty began to beg me for more light..and then more light and color …and then it began to literally ‘take wings’ and changed completely!! ‘The Wisdom of Wings’…is now the working title.
