What would you do about it?
What would you do about it?
Maybe it's my skill issue, but I don't find that coding agents are very good at finding, e.g., duplication. If I tell them to look for it they generally don't find anything very significant, they tend to only find it incidentally in the course of doing something else.
So sorry.

What if you went back to pre-Trump everything? Would that be a net increase or decrease to the debt over 10 years?
I wasn’t super plugged into real-world student achievement other than those who became professional astronomers, but certainly everyone I know who works at universities (a pretty good number) tells the same story about student devolution this century.
While I enjoyed "The Cuckoo's Egg, " his hobbies (Klein bottles etc.), and always appreciate famous astronomers, he was so spectacularly wrong (Hassett Dow 36000 level wrong) in the era that you are quoting that I'm afraid I can't take anything he might have accidentally been right about seriously.
Other than NSF honoraria which get reported as income (from which I deduct the actual travel expenses) the only travel expenses that were ever recorded (partially) as income involved a cross country move of my family and household. Some of those expenses were correctly reported as income.
I think the serious answer is with a lot of migration to Chinese models followed by some pressure on American lab pricing. (Only some pressure because its the most price-sensitive users who sill migrate first, while a ~6 month capability gap remains "business" users will pay for the leading edge).
and until every drop of blood drawn with the lash shall be paid by another drawn with the sword, as was said three thousand years ago, so still it must be said “the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.”
I wonder if the bill noted in Lincoln's second inaugural has finally come due: "Yet, if God wills that it [the Civil War] continue until all the wealth piled by the bondsman’s two hundred and fifty years of unrequited toil shall be sunk,
Canadian Rye Whiskey is sometimes considered in the same family (typically considered spicier).
It's a bit hard to interpret this, but malt vinegar is #6 of all condiments for all purposes, so must be in the top 3-4 for chips?

Everyone talks about Claude Code (me too), but I did a little bit of year end spreadsheet stuff with Claude in Excel, and it was amazing (super profligate with tokens at least initially though).

History doesn’t repeat, but it rhymes. Unfortunately.
Do you have a link for this (genuinely interested, not trying to be obnoxious). My feeling (for which I also don't have evidence) is that while I'm sure innovation could help at the margins, that the biggest issues are likely more mundane (zoning, permitting, ...).
I'm seriously starting to question the credibility of the FIFA Peace Prize.
Just wanted to fly more, or some precipitating activity?
Wow, how did you hollow out the bulk of the handle? Drill it from the end?
Is there a page somewhere that contains the features you intend to implement it?
Eventually, and in practice you might not have any choice. If I was to move back to PEI I would have e to wait years to get a family doctor. (Which system is better for any given individual is complicated, I think the Canadian system is better for society but it has a lot of problems too).
Awwwwww

I’m a bit dubious the $68M will go very far, but don’t know the numbers well enough to be sure. (Google says the total federal premium subsidy in 2024 was 5x that).
I use DR for things where I really care about the results (e.g., medical things, things I'm going to spend a lot of money on) and I want a lot of references that can be cross-checked, and I'd like a decent length report. Maybe this is an outdated holdover from the olden times of 6 months ago.
I don't remember the details, but at 5000m (ALMA altitude) IIRC the atmospheric pressure is about 50% of sea level, so naively it would suffer half of the cosmic ray attenuation that sea level does so it could be significant (presumably this is why I checked).
