K.A.R.L. formed in Jacksonville Florida in 2007 by T.J. Breedlove, and Josh Johnson. They are a Darkwave Industrial band inspired by the Industrial music scene of the 80s and 90s, taking inspiration from bands such as Project Pitchfork, and Skinny Puppy.
