A good turnout for the #parkrun #parkwalk event yesterday, a dozen walkers and over 150 participants, plus a decent morning's weather!
Fabulous week at #parkrun last Saturday with a decent turnout, although weather likely to be a bit more unsettled for our Easter event
A lovely morning for #parkrun this week - lots of volunteers, participant numbers were swelled with a fair few visitors, and the Strawberry Line and playing fields were in great condition!
The threatened rain showers didn't materialise at #parkrun this week, instead we got a lovely spring morning for a colourful relaunch of the parkwalking initiative with new parkwalker bibs, bunting and flag!
20 dropped tokens given out in the wrong order gave us a bit of a results headache at #parkrun this week! Thankfully we had lots of great photos to help straighten everything out 👍
Spring springing in Banwell on delivery rounds this week, and a nice view across Clevedon while on a break.
Started frosty at #parkrun yesterday but most of it had thawed by start time, turned out a lovely morning for photos with a clear Mendip backdrop, some nice shots from the old railway bridge, and plenty of visitors for pacer week including several up from Yeovil RRC 👍
Smoke from a nearby fire drifted into the trees towards the end of #parkrun yesterday giving me some atmospheric photo opportunities!
It’s parkrun ‘tutu’ day on Saturday, come and join us for a run/jog/walk and coffee and a natter afterwards. We are on the B route again as the playing fields are still a bit slippery and have also been churned up by someone with a remote controlled buggy 🤦♂️
I certainly picked the coldest day to be RD yesterday, that’s for sure. Selfie with the funnel team while we wait for the first finishers.
Working on my half marathon pace today, along the Strawberry Line to Shute Shelve tunnel and back 🏃♂️
Shocking weather for the Chepstow 10k today at the racecourse, got round though, just under the hour 👍

Took some fab #parkrun photos on Saturday, the ones taken along the stream are only possible until all the nettles spring up along the bank, and the position as parkrunners spill down into the old railway cutting always gives great action shots. 📷
Looks like we are heading for a re-run of last week’s #parkrun weather-wise, there’s been a bit of snow on the Mendips but the Strawberry Line is largely ice-free.

My BeReal notification popped up exactly as I pulled over to check if my target NYD parkrun was still on, on the way to parkrun. It was cancelled! Back to bed then.

Lots of festive costumes at our pre-Christmas parkrun on Saturday. No Christmas Day event here but we continue the seasonal vibes on the 28th. 🎄
