We can have a whole separate discussion about FAA allowing multiple simultaneous landing clearances and visual approaches for commercial aircraft and circle to land in 2025 but for the lad on the radio last night I'm struggling to see where he did anything non regulation... ??
Looking at the tracks and listening to the audio I am struggling to find anything the tower controller could have done differently.
It appears the helicopter pilot requested visual separation confirmed he had the crj in sight and was instructed to pass behind it.
Contemplating the job of tearing down and rebuilding an airplane!
