Part 2: I have made this clear to his school. I don't make him catch up on school work that day but he must catch up and stay on top of his studies. His school has recently raised concerns under the "every missed day is missed learning" hoping for others views

Part 1: I am wanting to pick others brain... Since my son entered high school (currently year 11) I have allowed him to have a "mental health day". This is a day that he can take (with some parameters - no ax day, needs to keep engaging with his MH supports) when he needs a day off to reset.

Have decided my first post will be a positive win post... Happy to share that all 3 abstracts submitted to @acmhn.bsky.social 49th International Mental Health Nursing Conference in September have all been accepted for presentation.
