Brain donors are heroes! Alzheimer’s is a uniquely human disease & living brains are uniquely challenging to study. No research model can teach us as much as the real thing. We are grateful to those who donate to accelerate discovery & progress – thousands of labs learn from every brain donated.
Brain aging is the greatest risk factor for Alzheimer’s. The progress from CureAlz-funded breakthroughs has fueled this collaborative effort, built on years of foundational work supported by our donors. I’m proud of the vision behind this initiative and grateful to the researchers leading it.
I’m grateful for the scientists who kept pushing Alzheimer’s research forward and the community that empowered them to do so—especially when science and progress most needed protection and support.

What a fantastic week at #ADPD! I am grateful to be a part of this dedicated community committed to the scientific advances needed to improve the lives of those affected by Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. I am excited by the new data, ideas shared, and collaborations sparked by being together.
