I feel like you need to love yourself and your body first and then you can boost it using positivity from others. I’ve been trying for years to improve my self image though with no luck, so I feel like something is better than nothing, right?
One of the main reasons is to help my self confidence. But it’s so hard to stop the mindset that no one cares what I think, so why bother. I also have a bad self image and I can’t help thinking it could be improved using this site. But is it unhealthy to tie my self image to external validation?
I’ve been trying to get more active on here, but I spent a solid 5+ years off social media so it’s been harder than I thought getting back on. I’ve been trying to not just see the negative in life though, and I see people enjoying using it and I want to be more like them!
