But yeah, living with this combination of disabilities can be very rough and can sometimes feel isolating. That's why I'm grateful to anyone on social media who talks about these disorders openly. Having open constructive conversations about stigmatized disabilities empowers all of us.

And then I have what I call the 'Hell Disorder'; Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. I would not wish this shit on my worst enemy. It is genuinely terrifying to live with and anyone reading this that also has it; you are a soldier and fucking badass <3

I prefer the name Borderline over its other name 'Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder (EUPD)'. Borderline better describes my experiences of psychotic and affective symptoms. Also whoever named it 'Emotionally Unstable' is a doughnut, like what kind of name is that??

Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) is proabably the most culturally recognised personality disorder. It sadly comes with weird complicated stigmas and misunderstandings from outsiders. It mainly affects my self-image and my ability to maintain relationships with others.

Complex PTSD is like PTSD but has additional relational and emotional symptoms on top of PTSD, and may be more likely diagnosed for survivors of chronic trauma. For me, it presents through chronic fatigue, flashbacks, dissociative and derealisation symptoms. My C-PTSD and BPD cross over a lot

I'm gonna do what i said about at the start of the year and share more about my disabilities here. So here we go:

Landscape format in acrylics on canvas. View front on from across river at a horizontal central band of 11 buildings, a mixture of modern and old, ranging from 2 stories to 4 stories, and all joined together except for a gap in the middle where there is a narrow side street beside the Ha'penny Bridge Inn. Behind the line of buildings in the centre is the large modern block with alternating horizontal stripes of concrete and dark glass topped with a glass roof on a wider strip of concrete from which dark metal arms in 2 pairs hang down each side gripping the building. Until relatively recently this building was the Central Bank of Ireland. The buildings along the quay are creams and oranges and pale grey-greens, and a couple of red-brick buildings at the right end. The river wall of granite blocks is rendered in warm greens and browns with a line of dark green seaweed hanging along near the water. The sky is a pure very pale turquoise. The whole scene is reflected only slightly rippling in the river punctuated by streaks of very pale lighted turquoise water. Signed bottom right in dark blue, Liam Daly
