I think that reading says more about you than him

No one is looking at your bio. Get over yourself.
Definitely coming from you. I wrote one sentence and you just completely glossed over the first part to pretend I am not also anti-aipac just because I mentioned your sexist comment
The AIPAC shots are fair, but the suggestion that woman are voting for Biss because they're stupid and just think he's hot is definitely sexist
Interesting thought. I can see this having merit. It's also what people really glaze Platner for (though I generally fine them disingenuous), and is also what some people said about Trump.
To be clear, I don't think Kat is like those people, but the anti-establishment thing seems a big draw rn
Also, my stepdad works in construction. He's low on the totem pole and doesn't make much, but he loves when new construction happens because that means he has steady work. It's not just the fat cats getting paid, it's also the labor. Working class people also benefit from building.
When my brother started at college I got the sense he was functionally illiterate tbh. But he found something he was passionate about and I see such a difference in his writing. Some grammatical mistakes, but the quality is much better.
Unfortunately that passion was finance. He's a finance bro.
Tbf this took 700 years. Have some patience
I genuinely wondered if it was still a thing while watching Bridgerton, but I guess I never actually looked it up
Funny how they never bring up his work with blackwater, which he chose to do as very much an adult, or the fact that he most likely committed war crimes
People in the Maine subreddit are still pretending the "youthful indiscretion" of getting a Nazi tattoo is the only mark against him, as if that isn't huge in itself. Oh, and the other problem are the lying bitches who used to work for him & are now lying for some reason
The delusion is incredible
Exactly. The arrogance is just a sign he actually hasn't changed
Why do it when they're 18? Why not when they're 35, or 65? What is it about young people that makes their lives so easy to disrupt in the eyes of those well past that age?
Community service hours to graduate high school, sure, but a year of service just because old people want free labor? Pass.
My sister has what she calls her "happiness journal" where she writes about stuff that made her happy in detail
If you've ever wanted to run for office in a deep red district now seems like an excellent time
I was curious if he was doing it because being associated with Republicans is bad PR and not so much because of ethics, but this is my first time hearing about him so I have no basis for either, my speculation is based on the lack of morals I see in Republicans
Just fyi the Borowitz Report is satirical
It's not clear this is even true anymore. Target got rid of self checkout in most of SF and everything was locked up. I'd have to wait in line to get into Ross. Shopping was pretty hellish tbh. Plus, self checkout tech has gotten a lot better at catching things, but that software is def not free
There was a business owner in SF who posted videos of people stealing little trinkets from her store. Stuff that was absolutely not necessary, they just wanted to steal it. Just 3 random white women. That's the kind of person you're defending—folks who just want a thrill from being naughty
The people writing articles about engaging in petty theft from WF are the ones who are just bored. They're not doing that shit for survival, and you should stop pretending otherwise.
I think this is a good read. I don't give a shit about WF's bottom line. But I don't think encouraging people to steal for fun ends at them stealing from WF. It's not even about the stealing, it's about wanting to get away with things, and just leads to people feeling entitled to get away with stuff
There was a lady who was caught with like a million dollars of beauty products stolen from Ulta and Sephora, and she had a whole network of shoplifters who got her the product. It's not just Fox News. It's also reality. And you can see the stolen products being sold openly in SF by train stops
I've seen someone clearly homeless stealing chips from Walgreens. Whatever, I'm not saying shit about that. But those aren't the people who joke about stealing for fun.
I just don't feel like dealing with the potential repercussions of stealing $7. Best case scenario nothing happens. Worst case? It costs a lot more than $7. I have enough problems without inviting more
I don't care about WF, I care about after WF. What are you entitled to then? It's not true that they only do it to big corps. Why would they? They're not doing it out of survival but out of entitlement. I get it when people steal food to survive or baby formula to feed their child—that's not this
A lot of people replying to this in bad faith pretending that the people who don't support stealing for fun are just super pro corporations.
But actually it's antisocial behavior and those same people start to feel entitled to a lot of shit that's not theirs and it doesn't end at WF.
I wonder why I'm supposed to care about two more than I am four *hundred*
It's kind of wild how cheap conchas are in Mexican bakeries because I've made them and they're fairly ambitious. Maybe it was the recipe I tried but I had to let them rise three times and it took me like 3 hours
Yeah I have the same problem. I'm not a big drinker and it turns out neither are our guests but they always bring a pack of beer or a bottle. The math just doesn't work out if everyone isn't having at least six drinks, which they definitely aren't
I wish people had higher standards for our military and didn’t just accept our war crimes as part of the gig
