Slot has him too wide. He literally can’t get into goal scoring opportunities to flip games our way anymore because he’s basically playing like a right midfielder in a traditional 442. He also has no full back help at all.
FYI, the heat maps are bloody helpful.
Salah has bloody been an easy target this season. People, including yourself, seem to forget he’s always been a scruffy watch at times, even when he’s scoring regularly.
I have bloody acknowledged that Salah is not the same player, but he has been utilized so bloody poorly. So have the other former and current attackers. Slot can’t create any cohesive attack.
Slot has pushed Salah and Gapko away from goal and not playing to their strengths. Salah and Gapko are not wingers. They are inside forwards. Put them closer to the box. It is bad coaching and crap tactics.
