I saw that being posted on the news as well. This feels totally insane. My son is of "draftable age" as a Mom, I'm terrified. I'm praying it won't come to this. I don't understand how most of America is just willy-nilling along. I'm not including those of us here in NM; we stand and fight.

It's an uplifting, jazzy music kind of day, ugh, the weather is so bad, dreaming of warmer days ahead. Listening to Brian Culbertson, Paul Hardcastle, Ken Navarro. There's snowsqualls passing through, and it is still only 40 degrees. Hoping this is winter's last dying breath. Enough!
It really is cold. We had a light dusting of snow here last night, and there's snow on the Sandias. It is only 39 degrees here so far at 12:30-ish, so not warming up anytime soon. I'm trying to save a bit on heat, but it's too cold to not run it at least a bit. That wind yesterday did me in, lol.
