Nose down prioritises weight distribution while accelerating, as it will shift rearwards; the inverse for braking.
But also I'd suggest you think about maybe modifying the frame to keep the heavier parts where they make the most sense while still arranging the angle of attack how you want it.
So I guess how you plan the attitude of the body is a matter (to an extent) of thinking about whether you expect heavier & more frequent weight transfer under braking or under acceleration; a dragster will prioritise acceleration, where a rally car or circuit racer will generally be more neutral.
I can see that. Hmm.
Two things come to mind.
1: the heavier part of the vehicle being over the more heavily-built part of the frame makes sense- you want to have the ehavier stuff in the same place.
2: Having the nose down makes a lot of sense in terms of weight transfer under acceleration.
If anything the A layout with the tracks just sliiightly further back?
Personally I think B looks better (more aggressive especially with the nose down) but if you have a real concern about realism I think the improved ground pressure management of the "A" layout is probably stronger.
On weight distribution I suspect A would actually work better as the track has a much greater contact area; you'd have to be a bit more careful about how you steer it as rear-wheel steering is less stable but the weight of the boiler is likely to be the greater concern to be honest.
So basically a flat CMOS cell?

It’s still really weird to me that most seemingly progressive parties are so intent on pursuing a block of voters that can largely be characterised as conservative, unionist, nationalist, and transphobic.

A Warhammer 40K Space Marine Terminator, converted (kitbashed) to use 30K-era Lightning Claws and have 30K-era shoulder guards. The tassels on the shoulder guards are hand sculpted from green epoxy putty, as are a large purity seal and Templar cross detail on the right shoulder. The left shoulder has a heavily modified Terminator amulet set into it as a miniature Crux Terminatus. One of the fingers on the left hand has a blob of green stuff on it as I damaged it in the process of attaching it and need to repair the claw.
Unpainted Black Templar Terminator Sgt miniature with a custom sculpted detail on the right shoulder (the two inset detail shots at the top are two different angles of the shoulder pad). The Sgt's power sword crossguard (in the left hand) has been modified to resemble a Templar cross, and the detail on the right shoulder depicts an Imperial eagle (mixed with an Atreides hawk) over the lower half of a Templar cross, with three purity seals at the rear edge of the shoulder guard.

Tinkering with seals & little custom bits here and there mostly.
The very detailed Templar cross at top left of image 2 is cast from a Forge World detail, everything else is hand sculpted.

That kind of bright finish isn't really my wheelhouse so I apologise if this is all more basic than where you're at already.
Really though, I think @voiceofkosh.bsky.social is probably the best person I know for colour theory and @jewelknightjess.com is the oldhammer painter who I think has my favourite take on the style- here's a video of hers with a bright primary paint style that I think works really well:
Oldhammer colours, ooft, those can legitimately be difficult. What I will say (and I suspect this isn't news to you) is that particularly for very bright colours your basecoat can be very important. Bright primary yellow can look much better over a pink base than a white one, for example.
Sorry to hear that. I do have Thoughts on painting large fabric panels in bright colours if you're interested but you're an excellent painter so I don't anticipate you'd *need* my advice particularly.

You're probably right. But my point isn't that we're *actually* better, but that we *convince ourselves* that we're better and mark ourselves virtuous by that measure even though there's no real difference.

The facade is for us, not for you. The machine doesn't care how it's seen externally, all it wants is to assuage the consciences of its own cogs. It's the absurdity of which we convince ourselves that allows us to continue to commit atrocity.
That's already where I'm at with this? We as white British people fool ourselves; it's not necessary for us to fool anyone else in order to feel OK about keeping the machine running.
We are as bad as anyone else but our machinery is designed to let us pretend to ourselves that we're not.
