I really like that album - ‘Coast’ is probably my favourite.
Cut back the hedge; even though I understand that it comes back again, it hurts my heart to do it.

The crows have been busy all day.
I maybe have a skewed view because of my age in the 80s, but you knew a ‘something’ was coming - trailed in news items and kids tv shows, plastered over lunch boxes, on every food item. I remember it especially happening with films. Like you were an always-already consumer/watcher/enjoyer.
Those were the years that a film / cultural product flooded the market with tie-ins and branded things months before the content it was lifted from was available to most people. Maybe even years. When I finally saw the actual Simpsons I remember being surprised it was any good (!).

I rather got the impression that the truth may be more akin to a diet of All
Bran, out of season fruit and despair-bread made in a bread-making machine from packets in Waitrose.
Hope is a marvellous thing - experience cannot dim it. Rain cannot soak it. The weather forecast can’t put it off. First time for the moth trap for ‘26.
To be honest, I don’t even think she lives like this. These sorts of texts all have green tea in. Gives green tea a bad name.
