A new traveling exhibit tells the story of Japanese American soldiers who fought for the U.S. in World War II, even as their families were incarcerated as enemies of the state.

We’re glad that Kristi Noem has been fired and she should face real accountability for DHS’ rampant violence.

But Noem’s firing doesn’t suddenly solve the crisis at DHS. Swapping personnel without changing course is not accountability — it’s a spin tactic. What we really need is structural change.

Seems like the media should at least express some curiosity about this.
