So… after I was notified what I missed from the article.

I read the rough part of Ryo post and yeah this is interesting…

“We already have a general idea of the kind of profession the protagonist of the final installment will have.”

I’ll probably wait till the digital magazine releases but.. wow.

I’ll probably gonna ask later to make sure when I come by to visit Japan in a few weeks about this specific interview from Kondo.

But having a rough idea what profession they want for the final protagonist for the Trails series is another way of saying "It’s time to expand their horizons."

It was announced in March 2024.

It’s for the 45th Anniversary of Falcom. For the development of the project, it is similar to what Kyoto Xanadu is experiencing a while back (Dropping a teaser trailer and developing the game in a two year period).

Note the other unannounced projects they have may or may not follow a similar path.

It is still in the early phase of development for this new Dragon Slayer project but… Falcom did explore a lot of options that brings back into the origin for a while.

"Return to the origin." is the moment when myself and others knew that Falcom are bringing back the earlier days of Nihon Falcom.

Haha… 2027 is where the real fun begins.

Dragon Slayer Project is the project that myself and others in my group are really hyped for months now.

Falcom is gonna to cooked even more later on but this is definitely the step that Falcom will be taking to bring dormant IPs back in the spotlight.
