An update! It was Book 7, The Emperor's Finest. Deals with the Reclamators... Which now double checking, appears to be quite the typo on the page for the Reclaimers. Oh my.

Only have my audiobooks for the Caiphus Cain novels. I know there was a small group of Space Marines he ran with. I think regarding them staying on a Space Hulk to deal with both Orks and Tyrannids. Get back once I figure out which novel it was.

It is a cold sunrise or sunset over a vast swathe of mountains. A giant figure looms in the distance, walking away with curiosity. Its hair rises up behind altostratus clouds. This seems like the herald of something catastrophic.
A massive inverted pyramid glows a muted gold amongst shelf clouds in an unknown setting. Tiny lambent beings float and stick to its surface as tendrils that are shaped like digital lighting emerge from the pyramid's point and extend past the frame. Is it collecting souls or releasing them?
A massive hand reaches from the darkness to collect the sun. Its bones are visible within the subsurface lighting. This hand has always been misgendered as fables go.
Above a frozen mountain shrouded in clouds the smallest glimpse of a head can be seen. Lightning crackles in the cloud that would be positioned by its nose. No features can be made out, save for the feeling that now you'll never be released from its view.

A biblically accurate owl god perches atop a decrepit toys r us. The parking lot is grown over with weeds. I used to work there you know. that's not part of this picture but I thought you should know.
a slimy vulture god with a couple extra hands gleefully enjoys some roadkill. Billboards stating Hell is Real and an ad for an Adult Toy store are in the background, adding to the ambience. There's a lot of trash alongside the road. someone should probably clean that up.
The beasts of old still enjoy roaming these dreary lands... Best just to leave them be.
