After publishing the IMD and Political Control poster in December. I took a dive into the some of the individual indices. One that stuck out was Education, Skill & Training. Many of the LAs shifted position with London doing particularly well. I am unsure why this is, but interested to find out.

This is an updating of the poster we created in 2019. If you compare the earlier posters we notice that the local electoral landscape is changing. What was once mostly blue and red is changing with a resurgence of the Lib Dems and the entry of Reform and the Green parties.
