A huge thank you to COVID-19 Families for hosting this reflection and uniting our city to honour those who we lost in the pandemic โ the work they do is vital to bringing justice, closure and compassion to families.
As a city we should do everything we can to support those who lost loved ones, and Iโm glad our community came together to show strength and kindness.

Sunday was a powerful and moving day for our city as we remembered and celebrated the lives of those who we lost in the COVID-19 pandemic.
For some their lives returned to normal when the pandemic ended, but for many others their grief lived on.
Her work truly captures life in such a beautiful way and I would encourage people to look at her stunning photos especially the series: Love is a Life Story: Friendship in the Face of Covid.

Itโs more important now than ever that women are in the room when the design, building and rollout of new technology is being done - otherwise, weโll find ourselves in an online world designed only for men.

Iโve been speaking to both young people, parents and carers within Milton Keynes about online safety for young people. ๐ฑ
One thing is clear that social media companies are not doing enough to create a safe environment for the online sphere.
When tackling this epidemic of violence, we must ensure that it is rooted out everywhere.
Women and girls deserve to feel unconditionally safe, no matter where they are, the time of the day or who is present.

Update on train journeys which states: โPlease be aware that if you use train services from Milton Keynes Central Station to London Euston, that between the 3rd and 8th of April no services will run between Milton Keynes Central Station and London Euston in order to complete important engineering and upgrade works on the line This work is a long-term investment in improving the West Coast Mainline, through renewing tracks, signals and power systems, there is a reduced risk of delays and cancellations, meaning smoother journeys for residents in MK as well as ensuring the safety of the line.
