If you watched the recent State of Azeroth, then you got to see several of PoN's houses on full Display like Cryptstone (@stonegrasp.bsky.social), Duareapa, Vylensce (@littlesparkz.bsky.social ), Slim. Our hood is big time stuff.
I realized I don't have the chest armor for the color of armor I'm making for Blizzcon. I have the quest rewards coloring but the orange version I'll be making is world drops and it's bop and I want to cry.
Do we like this set with the Flower staff or the butterfly wand and an offhand like the pinecone thing? If there's other orange/red/yellow nature weapons you think would go better lemme know.

I feel so completely heartbroken, I've been gone from cosplay, warcraft, and social media so much over the last year due to my health now that I'm back I feel like I lost everything and will never find it again.
These are my cosplans for BlizzCon.
Right now my top 3 choices for my BlizzCon cosplay are one of these outdoor Emerald Dream sets or an Earthen. I don’t know how I’m going to decide. Going to have to do one of my pro/con lists I guess.
A year and 1/2 to make a cosplay… I can maybe do that.

We have a couple michaels in the area with a decent amount of fabric, but our local Walmarts actually have a small decent selection too. I know not everyone is willing to Walmart, but in a pinch it's been helpful for me in the past.
I'm devastated to report that Sandra Powers, the power behind Petopia and creator of Warcraft Mounts, passed away from cancer on 25 January. Known as Mania to Petopians, Sandra ran Petopia through WoW's golden age and is responsible for taking the small site and making it what it has become. Sandra was funny, patient, smart, generous, and a great teacher. When she couldn't run it anymore she handed Petopia to me in the mid-2010s and taught me all I needed to know. Sandra was an MMO producer and engineer who worked on Asheron’s Call, EverQuest II, and she and her husband Eric built their own MMO: Project Gorgon. The world is a worse place for her loss. You can find Sandra's famous orc persona immortalised behind Trueshot Lodge in Highmountain.

The mushrooms are made from crepe paper. The vines are crepe paper and floral wire embellished with artificial leaves. The windows are sea glass. All the moss is real preserved sheet moss and reindeer moss. There is a string of fairy lights inside. It is approx. 9"H x 8.5"W x 7" D
The structure of the house and roof is air dry clay. The base of the house was mosaiced from small mother of pearl stones. The roof is tiled from real pinecone pieces. The door, chimney, body of the acorn, and shelf mushroom window ledge are made from polymer clay.

Finished the pine one shingles today. The love how they turned out. They look so natural like they really grew in that shape. Very pleased. I think I ended up using using 5 medium pine ones to get enough pieces for the whole roof.
I started the roof today. It’s time consuming but very happy my concept seems to be working even on the weird shape of the roof so far. I have been clipping apart the pinecones and sorting them based on width. I’ll be using the smaller ones as I get higher on the roof.
I’m struggling pretty hard mentally right now but hoping getting back into things I love will help.

I’ve had a ton of changes over the last couple years. I currently live with my bf and some of his family to try to save money. My space and budget is super limited so cosplay isn’t a thing I can do currently but I’m going to be getting back into crafts and streaming and this is my first project!
