Porom is my favorite female character from Final Fantasy (in general). Stands to reason I'd draw her after my favorite male character, Edward (or Gilbert, if you prefer. :P)

Finally caved and bought "Dragon Quest 1 & 2 Remake" for Switch. Needless to say, part of the opening to DQ1 kinda-sorta reminded me of the opening to another franchise-famous Square Enix JRPG. :0

( Yes, I used Laney's [Harvest Moon ToTT] expression-sprite-thing as practice for Edward Chris von Muir [Final Fantasy IV]. It was a neat experiment to revisit. C: )

Currently battling insomnia; trying to practice expressions. Using Laney (Harvest Moon ToTT) as a model for Edward (Final Fantasy IV) was a random suggestion, but I think it works... maybe? =X

(Leftmost was 2017. Rightmost is still a WIP, lol.)

I honestly don't know what to make of Kain (as he appears in Dissidia Duellum). I guess he has a nice hat and cool hairstyle?? 🥲 Not hating on the rest of his wardrobe, but am curious about it. =X

Side note: Final Fantasy IV is my favorite FF. Maybe I'm just used to knights and armor lol. 😅
