Thanks. And after all that, stumbled across micro blog and have decided to host there. Still I learnt something, which is always the most important take away.
After being inspired by @lee-perry.co.uk have dabbled (and spent a bit too long!) putting together a minimal, micro blog.
Still plenty of work to do, but here's a bad first draft to get things going: gregmicro.uk
Screenshot of Zwift showing Ultimate, 18 out of 18 stages, completed.
Tour de #zwift β
Still having nightmares about Alp du Zwift, and repeating Stage 4 long ride was certainly not the one.
Quakers Walk parkrun this morning. That's Q done, and leaving Y and Z to complete the alphabet challenge! Fantastic morning, great community and the charity cafe afterwards was awesome π
What's being released today? The local independent music and bookshop has a huge queue outside?? Anyone know

It's not there yet. Made really good progress Sunday to Monday, but doesn't feel like it's improved today π fairly certain I won't be doing the half on Sunday but would like to shuffle around parkrun on Saturday π€
On the bright side of being injured, managed to do some reading and crank out 600 words of my next MBA assignment. 3 weeks to find inspiration for another 1900 words. #oustudent #mba
I'm a huge fan of Getting Things Done by David Allen, has worked well for me for years
Cheers fella. Knew I shouldn't have entered on Friday! Hope you had a goodnight at the football last night π
Interesting read and I can semi relate to some of it. Don't have any answers, but one factor I use with my planning is a flag for if others are waiting for me to complete, and then try and prioritise those tasks (mainly to save them chasing and interrupting me!)
Everyone I come on here I'm very impressed with your blog. π It gets me tempted to dust something off myself.
The curse of Baldock Beast (a local half marathon) strikes again. 5 times I've entered, 5 times I've DNS'd through a variety of causes.
Fit as a fiddle, entered on Friday, injured myself in the gym on Saturday π
The race is next Sunday, t-7 days. Can my back recover?

Nicely done and some cracking photos there @chris8238.bsky.social π
Headed over to Houghton Hall #parkrun this morning for a lovely, frosty, semi trail run with some fantastic company.
Also headed past Luton Town before having to watch Stevenage lose there later π

Best news of the day so far. Ref has presumably seen us play recently and decided he couldn't face the cold and the boredom.

New years rush at the gym isn't in full flow yet. (may have helped that I went early doors).
Yep wise move, part 1 of training is getting to the start line in one piece. Although the dreadmill is the worst! π
Good family fun at Stevenage #parkrun this morning - youtu.be/MgVdBmK5sV0?...
Have done Stronglifts before, but have just started from scratch again at the start of this month. Fully agree about the squats being the mental challenge, but excited to see how it all develops next year too! π
Lovely morning skating around Stevenage #parkrun this morning - a little frosty and slippy underfoot βΈοΈβοΈ
No idea what GoPro footage I captured - will see if I can cobble a video together later on...
Dodged the non-stop rain at junior parkrun this morning due to seeing the fantastic #starsailor last night.
The 4th official has called 3 mins to be added on. After 88 mins has been played.
Someone wants to go home early.
Fair play anyone who's made the trip from Donny today. No trains, freezing, not a new ground and countdown to Xmas is on.
I was thinking of jibbing it off and I've got a ST π€£
The London Marathon Show 2025 opened yesterday, so I headed down to the Expo, collected my race number and t-shirt and made a short video about it. #londonmarathon2025

Bank Holiday madness in the UK. I've just been to a rubber duck race. π
Just keeping the legs ticking over with 6 days until #londonmarathon2025, followed by a family stroll around Wimpole
