Our preaching (among other things) has led to a church filled with faithful people not deeply steeped in theology-and this makes it harder for laity to live into their baptismal promises. Whatβs preaching for if not equipping the saints for mission. Rules like βno more than 10minβ miss the point.

Disagreeβ¦ establishing rules like this is the kind of nonsense that makes Anglican/RC homilies bland or irrelevant or superficial or negligible or just bad or all of the above. You are preaching the Gospel in an age of unbelief for crying out loud. Itβs a skill that has nothing to do with length.
