If we fail to adapt, the risk won’t just be a lingering sense of exclusion, but diminished prosperity, reduced influence and, ultimately, weakened sovereignty in a far less forgiving international order.

I don’t think so. The answer is obviously no.
Instead of answering questions not asking, Minister Anand should clearly lay out Canada’s position on Israeli & US violations of int’l law. Someone has to.
For the entirety of this now week-long war on Iran, its expansion to multiple theaters, & its reverberations on affordability + anxiety among Canadians, the PM hasn’t just not been in Canada, he’s barely been available to Canadian media.
Meanwhile, the messaging remains epically confused.
