The book pride and prejudice on a wooden desk next to a beautiful grey hand made coffee cup.
After having a sudden urge to read pride and prejudice I realised I don't own a single Jane Austen book π±
Thanks to Abe books I have rectified the situation!
If by some miracle I get a chance to read over Christmas I am now sorted...
(Also please appreciate my fav new cup in the photo βΊοΈ)
I loved getting the opportunity to play my flute again with the amazing flute choir Flutes and Co for their Christmas concert (even though I only had 1 rehearsal)
I had forgotten how much I enjoy playing with others. I'm looking forward to joining them next term!
A lovely afternoon yesterday visiting the beautiful Rookhow. This meeting house was built in 1725 in a beautiful oak woodland. Groups can stay in the cosy bunkbarn or yurt on site. I really recommend a visit!
Christmas food stall with lights and decorations.
Tray of chips, fried chicken, sauce and gherkins
In Manchester today for a network meeting at the beautiful royal exchange.
I only managed to take photos of the kaiserchmarr'n stall at the Christmas market for my sister ( @rebeccam-b.bsky.social you will appreciate too) and my street food lunch to make my husband jealous π€¦ββοΈ
A lake at dusk with pink and red lighting and three large lilies glowing with light.
Winter trees are lit with pink blue and yellow. A large owl sculpture glows with light
A colourful Christmas tree with presents surrounding it. In a room with large tapestries covering the walls.
Really enjoyed winter at Seizergh Castle @nationaltrust.bsky.social The house was beautifully decorated and the grounds felt really atmospheric with the lights, sculptures and music. I hope they do it again next year, felt like it was a great success.
This looks amazing! Good luck with your paper!

I white guinea pig in a hutch eating vegetable peelings. A grey smudge in the background is the other guinea pig running for cover.
The guineas enjoying a morning veggie feast. I think they're a fan of the morning slow cooker prep.
TV screen with a still from Muppet Christmas carol. A Kermit puppet sits in front ready to provide directors commentary.
Muppets Christmas Carol season has arrived at our house as we hide from the sleet and rain.

Looking forward to joining the Seeds for Action session this morning with Museum Dev. Getting my head back into sustainability at the museum.
The museum made great progress this year getting listed building consent and installing an air source heat pump in the cafΓ©.
But what can we do next ...?
Hello I've just joined. Could I be added. Currently running a small museum.
