Yesssss
Yesssss
I also think people feel like criticising sounds more intelligent than looking things? If that makes sense?
This is reasonable! I also imagine people who are fans of Lewis Hamilton have been cured of depression
It was fun!
I think I'm just finding all this new season stuff really interesting and genuinely looking forward to how it plays out weekend too weekend.
There's some things that can be improved but it doesn't feel apocalyptic. I enjoy fun
I will admit that I think some of the shine has been taken out of qualifying.
But again, perhaps they can create a qualifying mode for the power units in the regs. There's a lot of scope.
(I know you weren't arguing with me, I'm just pondering aloud)
I think there's -sometimes- people who only firm opinions based on the last thing they saw/heard and they can be very loud about it.
Things are often complicated, historically and unpredictable as they unfold into the future. It's interesting.
Yeah it's been really annoying for a while that people view F1 as a "push as the maximum for 90 minutes" when it's been about ebb and flow and strategic pace for...a very long time.
If it was a flat out sport it would be suuuuper dull
Ah minimum let's be patient. The tracks are so different.
And good news is you can fiddle with things like regen maximums pretty easily if they do wanna make adjustments.
Rory is right everybody needs to calm down
I also think large swathes of the people on social media are just unthinkingly getting caught up in the winds of hate without actually having a good think about it themselves.
People love hating on stuff.
All this chat about yesterdays race being 'artificial' to 'too Mario Kart' - when has modern F1 ever not had an element of artificial overtaking?
Adjustable front wings, DRS, KERS, high-deg tyres, mandatory pit stops, ban on refuelling.... 1/3 #F1
I once again present you with my #F1 2026 Chibi Holographic Stickers. You can get 4 of these little guys for the price of 3!

Nice one! And in a very unpredictable weekend too
Oh no
Congratulations! Delightful x
Only five women have ever entered a #Formula1 race, and in honor of Women's History Month, I'm celebrating every single one of them. Today, we remember Maria Teresa de Filippis β the first woman to compete in #F1!
He was born in the week after Alonso held up Hamilton in the pitlane in Hungary
Oh my GOD
If you want grand prix analysis you'll have to wait for my videos like everyone else
Thinking now that IF Leclerc had boxed at the first VSC then Merc might have stayed out because what they wanted was clear air to stretch their legs vs Ferrari.
Still, Ferrari should have split strategy
It's a good strategy
We need to make this the F1 Safety Car like immediately
Podium: Russell, Leclerc, Verstappen Pole: Russell Fastest lap: Verstappen Safety cars: 2 Finishers: 16 or fewer
Here are mine. Same on safety cars but Verstappen helped me on the FLap
Ah cool, I see you now on there. I thought you might not be watching live so I didn't want to say anything specific
I did just finally have a sofa nap.
Ooooh so close!
I do wonder if quali coverage could do with more graphics etc showing the differences between laps
Sky showed a ghost car visual of one car vs another in his they are using energy deployment across the lap and it was super interesting
Oh yeah totally agree with that! I'm very pro the interesting energy strategy bits (and it definitely shows itself better in the race, I think).
We'll get used to it.
@kittykatt29.bsky.social are you Fantasying this year?
The energy strategy was interesting but it removing the flat out knife edge driving through the trickiest bits of the circuit was a shame
