My employer is opening another store near ours, and regional management is really thirsty to get me on board to help get things up and running, for a couple days.

It absolutely baffles me how anyone could see that shit and still be like "Yup, he's our guy."

It can be painful admitting to yourself that a relationship is toxic, but ultimately, you have to look out for yourself, realize that their well-being is not your responsibility, and cut yourself loose.
