Will tweak more, light is an important aspect, thinking you can upgrade the flashlight, and adjusting it for different materials/environments

Adjusted the movement to be more like using a jetpack in space, wasd is up left down right, left and right mouse forward, left is look around
Also added something that follows you, but going to remove it all together to work on multistory

Tip to anyone working with random numbers, randomly picking between 10 choices, is much faster than randomly picking any number from 1-10
Doubled our framerate by swapping random.uniform in python with random.choice, among a few other optimizations

I cannot express the temptation i have to add more than a flashlight, but much more to do before we need weapons
We got space ghosts and creepy liminal spaces with chill lighting.
This wouldnt be a normal rocket interior, ill work on making that customizable and not dark.
But this would be a good start to level design when you board derelict vessels, or abandoned outposts on mars..
