I’m Still Here is a powerhouse of a film. Subtle in its execution, yet deeply tense and moving. Hit me in a way no other best picture nominee has this year, and a lot of that is owed to Fernanda Torres’s performance. A truly incredible film

Captain America: Brave New World is pretty mediocre. Some fun action and I really liked Harrison Ford in it. But you can tell this movie was reshot to hell and poorly stitched back together. Not a bad MCU movie but definitely the weakest Captain America movie
Not kidding when I say HERE is Robert Zemeckis’s best film in years. Surprisingly moving and heartfelt in ways I wasn’t expecting. Truly the work of a great storyteller, even if he refuses to tone down the unnecessary CGI.
I don’t care about the Oscar nominations…but if Adam Pearson isn’t nominated we riot
A little late but, these are my favorite films of 2024
A Complete Unknown is a fantastic acting showcase for Timothée Chalamet, who completely transforms into the renowned musician. If only the film’s characters weren’t as mysterious as the title
Nosferatu is a gorgeous and grotesque nightmare of a film, the likes of which only Robert Egger’s can achieve. Bill Skarsgard is unrecognizable and imposing as Orlok but Lily Rose Depp gives an unbelievable performance. My favorite film of 2024.
Sonic 3 solidifies the series as the pinnacle of video game movies. So much love has been put into this franchise it’s unbelievable. Shadow is great, and so is the rest of Team Sonic, but Jim Carrey is operating on another level. Best entry in the series yet.
Watched Maria and I think we should just give Angelina Jolie the best actress Oscar. No need to have any other nominees
Carried by its top notch performances and striking music number. Emilia Pérez is a wildly ambitious film, that unfortunately is held back by its unengaging story that can’t keep up with the film’s rhythm.
Though it’s nowhere near as good as the first. Moana 2 is a fun rousing adventure with some genuinely great songs, gorgeous animation, and enough charm to make it a worthwhile sequel.
Happy Thanksgiving
Banjo Kazooie
GLADIATOR 2 is the kind of epic spectacle only someone like Ridley Scott can deliver. It doesn’t come close to being as good as the first, but it’s some of the most fun I’ve had at the movies all year
BLITZ has an interesting enough premise and good performances. But the film quickly loses focus and spends most of the runtime aimlessly wandering in search of a story to tell.
Post a movie GIF from the year you were born.
2024 wins for having the most bad experiences I’ve had at the movie theater. Theater etiquette in the U.S. is atrocious
Probably would be a better movie too
Can not overstate how much of a disappointment this movie was
Ariana Grande is so unbelievably funny Wicked, completely stole the movie for me. She needs to be in more comedies.
Unfortunately I don’t think that’s going to stop them
Frustrating how big corporations do stuff like this, remove it because everyone hates it, then proceed to do it again
The Northman
Saying Wicked is the best movie musical since Chicago is wild, when Spielberg’s West Side Story exists
There should be screenings of Gladiator 2 specifically for dads standing with their arms crossed
There’s a lot to like about Wicked. Cynthia Evrio and Ariana Grande are great, the music is obviously great, the sets and costumes are great. The story however suffers, largely from it being split into two films. Causing the film to severely drag at times.
Manifesting all the Wicked posts saying the movie is “A wicked good time.”

Andrew Tate was banned immediately
That’s all.
