it’s just been confirmed that alex kingston is doing strictly come dancing and i apologise in advance because it’s all i’m going to talk about for the next few months

i do appreciate that she’s tackling her involvement head on and both learning about and acknowledging how harmful it is, but rowling is easily the most prolific transphobe at least in the UK and you can’t be an ally to the trans community and let that pass you by

she’s likely under contractual obligation and recorded her material so i don’t think dropping out is even on the cards.

the problem is as an “ally” to the trans community she shouldn’t have gotten involved with the project in the first place. there is no excuse for that kind of ignorance.
