This new Usagi Yojimbo comic I picked up today looks like a lot of fun. Canβt wait to read it while listening to the Miami Vice soundtrack π
I do for a while, but then I realize I already have enough collections and am not a snack food historian, so inevitably they find their way to the garbage π Unless they fit into a certain collection I already haveβ¦
They finally released the 4th package design of Marvel Oreos and its DOOM!
We got some encouraging news this week from his family, but heβs still got a long way to go. There are steady, small improvements that continue to give us hope. Heβs not talking yet, but when he does we canβt wait to hear what heβll have to say π

I randomly chose Mars Attacks! for a movie night with the kids and now my daughter is asking for a repeat viewing. I didnβt see that one coming π
I had never heard of this Hitchcock flick and I loved it. Such a quirky, weird tale of small town murder and it had a pre-Leave It To Beaver Jerry Mathers in it!
Picked Nigel up in my travels this week. It would only have been more perfect if it was reduced to $11 π
I picked this book up at the comic shop today and itβs βfantasticβ. So of course I had to get a viewing of the film in π
Just found out Danny Kaye was the original Wonder Man π
Had to wait for my kid to be done at a birthday party so I wandered over to a used book store and picked up this fun bit of nonsense. The perfect companion to the episodes of Get A Life Iβve been watching on Tubi this month.
Hey @horrormoviebbq.bsky.social , check out this write-up from Wizard magazine about someone buying VHS copies of Howard The Duck and Ghostbusters II on eBay back in 2001 π
Given my excitement for this new Marvel trading cards book that has been announced, I thought it would be appropriate to share this tribute to the first series of Marvel Universe cards that I made several years back, that hangs on the wall of my office.
This is what we call a MUST HAVE. The wait is going to feel eternal until I hold this in my hands to read.
Iβm way too proud of my new HBO Max profile name π
Then and now I really only care about the Ozzy track, but the No Doubt song has a great guitar riff.
A random stack of CDs from my office. What jumps out at you most?
Missing my friend, @williambwest.bsky.social today. Will, keep fighting for your recovery in the hospital and know that we will all be waiting to support you and your family in the next stages of your life. Whatever changes this experience brings, we love ya!
On a whim I decided to have a John Stockwell double feature this week. The guy had range. Whatever happened to him?
Agreed. With the tag line: βAmphibaBeasts = AmphibaWOW!β
My son created the villain side of our new action figure line. What should their evil organization bent on world domination be called?
Ooh, thatβs strong. It would confuse Grandma at the drug store, when her grandson asked for Battle Beasts π
Nice! I think the main hero would then have to be Sala-Man!
During a Play-Doh session with my youngest I came up with an action figure prototype worthy of a drug store peg in 1989. What would you name this toy line?
This was the first KISS-member solo project I found in the wild at a random store while on vacation to visit my grandparents in 1997. My excitement in the moment was the first sign that I was becoming an obsessive fan of the band and itβs still a top to bottom favorite for me.
A #VHS tribute to the year 1990. What a time to be a movie fan πΌπ¬πΏ
This is pretty cool. If you remember ToyFare or just like old action figures, you ought to check it out π
Picked up some classic sketch comedy on DVD from Goodwill this weekend. One has aged better than the other, but thereβs still some timeless laughs to be had.
