Stuff about Denmoku now that it's real & public: this is Not the project that was initially conceived, it has been rebooted. Some aspects make it quite obvious, like the fact that it's Minoru Ota's series direction debut, the shift in the setting, and the new subtitle. Fortunately, it looks great!

the pv whole city zoom-in is not the only crazy background animation sequence too!! also the cast said episode 5 goes particularly hard

comedic timing is as sharp as nichijou. there’s multiple laugh out loud scenes per episode. the backgrounds are gorgeous and the pv lineart style is consistent throughout

got to watch the first three episodes of city the animation in the premiere event!!! really funny and beautifully animated
