the ultimate sin, in this case, is the death of the 200 children which harrow is the physical manifestation of. and Gideon dies for her. harrow is also the only person who experiences Gideon only being dead for 3 days (like christ) everyone else it’s been months.

there is poetry to gideon being a Christ figure but ONLY to harrow. no one else has the capability of really seeing her that way because they don’t have the context harrow has. she is obviously the daughter of god who died and was resurrected SURE but an essential part of that story dying for sin.

Then everything changed, abruptly, forever. Harrowhark fell in love.

something really excellent about gideon really wanting girls to appreciate her muscles and for harrow to be a genuine repressed, freakish pervert about them in canon

before i read harrow the ninth it got spoiled to me that ianthe and harrow kiss but NOTHING else surrounding the context of that so this was how I was acting until I read it and like got the vibe
