The “Heated Rivalry” fandom is wild. Someone recommended a fic on Reddit and said “I don’t know why its hit count is so low, it’s really good” when the hit count is over 6000 (for a fic that’s less than 2 months old). I’ve never gotten that many hits in my life! 🤪
It’s why I refer to Samba and Con and Vico et al as “ours”. I know they’ll achieve great heights in their careers, and deservedly so, but they’ll always be our pirates.
