just learned that japanese fan communities use oshi-goto (推し事) to describe oshikatsu activities that you treat seriously like a job (in a lighthearted pun way) 😭 thats absolutely what it feels like when your favorite is a VOCALOID and you become a producer for them, its the perfect term
Not to mention that the vocalsynth community has this really toxic high schooler mentality that pisses me off so I stay away as far as possible
