But we must remember that it is all connected and all part of the same fight. The funding that is cut from health care and research and aid is the same money that funds genocide, kidnaps our neighbors and militarizes our cities when we dare to use our freedom of speech.

The LGBTQIA+ community is disproportionately targeted in this bill in an attempt to erase our trans, intersex and gender non-conforming friends and neighbors 🏳️‍⚧️.

We talked about just SOME of the abject horrors that are contained in Trump's so-called Big Beautiful Bill, focusing on healthcare justice for the approximately 276,000 trans adults that rely on Medicaid and the ACA for life saving medical care.

This “big, ugly bill” is dangerous and will destroy rural health care. In Kentucky alone, 35 hospitals are under the threat of closing, stripping care from families, cutting jobs and crippling local economies. 1/2

Healthcare is a basic human right.

This includes abortion, gender affirming care, reproductive healthcare & more.

You don’t get to pick & choose rights. They don’t work like that.

Equitable, accessible universal healthcare is a huge step towards a healthier population.
