Hilde the cat is in an underground chamber, in which a ghost cat is sealed inside a black Dome. The Dome is surrounded by six slots in which six gems can be inserted, although only four are currently in place. Hilde carries the fifth pink gem to one of the slots and inserts it. It has some sort of effect on the wall of the Dome, but doesn't get rid of it completely. Hilde knocks on it to see that it's still solid. She tries to use her magic staff to erase it but it zaps back at her.

Local furry con, for some reason hotel sells out super fast, and with my health staying off site is an issue cause having to walk back and forth in Florida heat while in horrible pain is... It's not a great experience. So staying on site is important to me.

Yeah, it's probably not supposed to work that way, but it does. Sometimes, Owlcat bugs gives us a good one.

Several times, once you understand how to do it, it's actually pretty easy. One of the big things, is that going into the final dungeon only counts the month and day, but not the year, so if you miss the deadline can always skip day for a year till it comes back.

Oh yeah, I think that was canon before this game came out, so was something they decided to work into the video game having Ember...

I mean makes sense the original adventure path had to exist in canon before they could adapt it. XD

What's funny is my first demon run was a paladin, which I stayed lawful good for (which sadly meant no mythic rank 10 but oh well)

Everyone still treated me as super evil and I'm like I LITERALLY RADIATE GOODNESS! So anyway, that run did not work XD

I've never actually seen that ending. Even my demon run was like... I will be nice to Ember, and spare anyone she asks me to. The rest of you though...

So I'm this horrible fiend, but got the Ember the Saint ending. XD

Swarm is freaking rough starting out in it, when you first go Swarm you are super killable till you build up Swarm size. But once you get going, the game basically plays itself.

I struggle to go swarm though, cause it's the one path Ember abandons me on and I can not hurt that precious child.

I'm also happy to help, you can poke me in my DMs for build advice (or discord or telegram) if you ever need it. I'm not like, the best ever, but I can at least build something to beat core.

Now Unfair mode... That one I coward the fluff out on XD

Yeah, I can't imagine getting through maze on Core or higher without using a lot of rest just cause you have so few ways to heal, and some things hit hard. And that freaking water elemental. But it's doable. Core just requires the patience to do things slowly, and make liberal use of turn based mode

In general for core, buffing is your friend, and getting either Ember or Camilea the Protective Luck Hex can go a long way in keeping the party alive.

One thing, the calendar and abyss corruption haven't started yet in Maze, so you can just rest a lot to get through it.

Combine that with they both usually come with nasty status effects, swarms that will often use dangerous poisons, and ghosts will often straight up do stat drain or level drain, and just, if you do not have the tools in advanced, you're in for a bad time.
