But Hill Dickinson's conduct came under scrutiny. "To put it in the plainest possible terms," writes Tommy Green, "Liverpool’s most famous law firm had taken public money to draw up the contracts, only to then advise the NHS that the protections they outlined did not exist." 🔽
This began a rancorous dispute between Day and NHS affiliate Health Education England that led to tribunals. Hill Dickinson advised HEE that Day's case could not be heard since whistleblowing law didn’t apply to them—something with serious implications for heathcare workers. ⤵️
