Does anyone know if ARR or ACL 2026 requires *every* authors to be available for review, or this responsibility can be transferred between co-authors? #ARR #ACL
Can AI simulations of human research participants advance cognitive science? In @cp-trendscognsci.bsky.social, @lmesseri.bsky.social & I analyze this vision. We show how βAI Surrogatesβ entrench practices that limit the generalizability of cognitive science while aspiring to do the opposite. 1/
We are thrilled to announce that our NEW Large Language Model will be released on 11.18.25.
I cried so hard reading this book π’
That's cool!
Don't forget snow tires!
It's 2025 and I still need to register separate account for each journal on editorial manager
I am still surprised on the observation that many ACL submissions mixuse \citep and \citet
Clearly people have different definitions on those terms π€

and b) a poster presentation on May 3rd (yes, the same day) between 2:50pm to 3:30pm on the better performance of smaller language models for detecting formal thought disorder (aclanthology.org/2025.clpsych...) at Tesuque/Zuni Suite.
Arrived at ABQ for #NAACL ! I will have: a) an oral presentation on the impact of test administration dynamics for the downstream dementia-related linguistic patterns on May 3rd 5:15 pm at Room 31 - Santa Ana (aclanthology.org/2025.cmcl-1....);
I use the combination of semantic scholar, scholar QA, and perplexity. But they all need to double check with the returned results - their summarization could be "not right" on some key points.
Thanks!

Happy to share our work is accepted by #CMCL workshop co-located at #NAACL2025! Our work show that the level of involvement from test administrators have significant impact on observed linguistic patterns in patients' speech in the "Cookie Theft" picture description cognitive test. [1/2]
Happy to share that our work is accepted by #CLPsych workshop co-located at #NAACL2025! Our paper shows that smaller models are more sensitive to linguistic differences associated with formal thought disorder than their larger counterparts 1/2
Just received an email saying that I'm not qualified for ARR review this cycle (which is true). Debating if I should withdraw from reviewer volunteer pool...
