Really daunting at first but when I was getting the base coats down I realised he’s basically 3 colours with a couple of accent colours. Happy with the result! He might get his revenge on my Howling Banshees next time we can play 😉

Imperials Milita organized using the HH v2 pdf army list. Models are a mix of old tanks I have had for years, Unpainted Vostroyan Firstborn I have also had for years, a lot of Wargames Atlantic plastic kits I spent most of last weekend building... and some cheap plastic army man field artillery!

A model of a Screamer-Killer Carnifex, painted with dark-blue exoskeleton, black-and-yellow armour, red talons and hooves, and green eyes, with some bright orange highlights.

Two models of the Norn Emissary and Norn Assimilator side-by-side. Both are painted with blue exoskeleton and black-and-yellow armour. The Emissary's exoskeleton also transitions to a striking pink towards its extremities, with bright blue talons, claws and hooves, and bright orange brains exposed in its crested head. The Assimilator's exoskeleton transitions to a vibrant green at the extremities, with bright red talons and hooves, yellow claws and spikes, and bone-white harpoons.

A model of a Neurotyrant flanked by a pair of Neuroloids. All are painted with dark-blue exoskeleton that transitions to bright pink at the tips of the tentacles, with bright blue feelers, black-and-yellow armour, and bright orange exposed brains encased within. The Neurotyrant also bears bright blue claws on its near vestigial forearms.

Two models of a Lictor (right) and Neurolictor (left). Both are painted with dark-blue exoskeleton, black-and-yellow armour, bright blue talons, claws and body markings, and bright pink facial feeder tendrils. The Lictor also has bright pink flesh with white teeth exposed in its mantis-like forelimbs. The Neurolictor's body transitions to bright pink at the extremities and tail, and houses a bright orange exposed brain within its crested head.

'Little' might be stretching it for some of the monsters in my collection, but here is at least a preview of some of the best I've done so far.

And more are still to come; Hive Fleet Hecaton is ever evolving new means to overcome its prey.
